Wikipedia Funding
I hope this thread falls within policy boundaries. I, just now, gave money to Wikipedia and I'll tell you why:
Wikipedia is not beholden to any commercial interest(s). I would hate to see Wiki cave, and invite commercial interests for funding. So I support them. For truth. For independence. I don't want Wiki to be 'captured.' I want them free. ![]()

My wife has donated some before. I was OK with it.
I know Wiki gets a moderate rap due to being able to be fed bad info, but I think for the most part it's a good resource for many, many things.
