Can't get enough of Southern Gal's
I was thinking it would be this gal. Sort of reminds me of my wife, if she had brown hair.

one of my partners is from North Carolina, and when she drinks, the southern comes out. its hilarious.
its the gators you see. ghay-ders. once shes talking about the ghay-ders ... all the southerisms start coming out. the flip side is when we watch fargo, its just me yelling "IT IS EXACTLY LIKE THAT!" "MY MOM HAD THOSE DISHES" and "THATS WHAT CARS SOUND LIKE IN THE WINTER" and "HOLLYWOOD THINKS SNOW IS CUTE, AND ITS NOT, ITS KINDA DITY AND ANNOYING" |
Most folks think that there's A "southern accent" but there's a bunch of 'em.

I could sit all day listening to a southern gal talk. I love the accents, yes there are many regional accents, but I just enjoy them all ! My time in the south were some of my best years
Back in the day before my cell phone took over, my GPS lady spoke with a French accent. She was the perfect woman. Sexy, cheap and never got mad. I miss her so
None of those ladies have anything on me. I have a very strong, very distinct accent. I grew up in NC. But I married young and followed my wonderful husband all over the south. We have lived in Alabama, South Georgia, and now South Carolina. I am pretty sure my accent is a mix of them all.
The hardest part about the accent is some words sound one way in my head but come out of my mouth differently. For instance: In my head I know "pin" and "pen" should sound different but out of my mouth both sound the exact same. |
