I threw away my SA2010, straight to the recycle bin. Kept the bag because, you never know...

Depends on how it was kept. My track helmet stays on a shelf in a helmet bag when not in use.
I used it for a dozen or so track days doing DE for 10 years before it expired. It's like new.
Snowmobile helmet is different. It gets abused on trips taking it on and off all the time. Their demise is usually the heated visor after a few years. Tossed then.

I kept my old helmet and used it for autographs. Over the course of the last few Rennsport Reunions I have collected quite a number.

Speaking of helmets, I saw this at the track this weekend: https://www.sparcousa.com/product/dry-tech#readmore

Nice way to keep your helmet aired out between sessions.

Tossed these about 4 years ago. Lots of miles. Down to 2 newer lids one full face and one open but are new and do feel just a little more protective.
