Mike once said everyone has a plan going into the ring until you get punched in the mouth :D . We will see who has the better plan . I think either can knock out the other so it may come down to nerves and conditioning .

This fight has all the parts to get real ugly.

Jake can box, and he’s good. No joke. And he’s 27 and in damn good shape.

Iron Mike will be 58 next month, and also in good shape, but 58 is 58.

Of course I think/hope Tyson wins.

Consider this…Jake wins and he’s beat up a 58 yr old former boxer. Not a good look. He loses and it’s to one of history’s best boxers ever. But in the fighting world, he’s a relative nobody. He has nothing to lose.

It’s not likely that this will be an honest fight… more of a payday.
Age is very deceptive. When a young man puts out 100%, he might run a 5:00 minute mile. When that same man puts out 100% at 58, he might run a 7:00 minute mile. Meanwhile, he thinks he’s churning and burning same as he always did, until he looks at his time, or gets passed by a 26 year old at what seems like an unsustainable, impossible pace. But they do sustain it. And they’re ready to do it again after like 90 seconds. It sucks.
Ask me how I know.

IF (big if) this was a real fight, I’d give Mike the advantage for the first round. If you’ve ever boxed, 3 minutes is an eternity and fatiguing almost beyond comparison. Mike could certainly put him down, but after that one round, Mike is quickly fading while the kid practically respawns in between rounds. Even if Mike really keeps his powder dry, that disadvantage grows every minute.
