If you hit an immovable object at speed in anything, you are fked, although some vehicles provide extraordinary crash protection. The only person wearing a seatbelt in the Princess Diana crash survived, and that was 80+ mph into a cement bulkhead with no deflection whatsoever.

I tried to find this when the thread was new, must have deleted the folder, but just came up on FB memories. Here's what an 87 928 looks like having slid into a telephone pole at about 80. I had already cut the roof off unfortunately.

Or don't. Its horrible, those pictures were never supposed to be released. Cost CHP several million dollars. The family would receive emails and letters to the their house with those pictures in them. No one should see a loved one that way. People are disgusting.....
