AI Generated Porsche 911's - LOL!

So Microsoft has launched a new AI Theme Generator for Edge. Check out what it created when I asked for my theme to be "aircooled porsche 911's":

years ago, I popped the engine cover on my 911 SC and showed my young son the engine. He knew that cars all had engines in the front and laughed. And laughed. And laughed. It was maybe the very best part of owning a rear-engine car.

Stupid AI.

Ha! AI put the fuel filler at the same end of the car as the engine. Shouldn't it know better?

I input 'Porsche early 911 hot rod' into Pixlr E. The results are not horrible. It knows what an early 911 is and knows how to hot rod it slightly. These are 2 of several results it spit out in about 15 seconds.

And in one car it's on the left while the other car has it on the right. Plus they are tiny! Maybe these are air-cooled-plug-in-hybrid models.

Certainly better than some of the others, but still some weird stuff. The wheels look weird with wonky spokes, and it looks like both cars have dissimilar side view mirrors. On the silver car, I can't tell exactly what the pass's side mirror is.

But yes, could be worse.

Man, the front ends on those early cars are SOOOOOO much lovelier than on my butt-ugly '78.

I think they only put flares on the '73 RS and RSR cars, but those are arguably the meanest and loveliest of 911s. Particularly the RSR with those big rounded flares. (sigh)

I asked for a white 1985 911 at sunset. Not horrid, but not not very good.

My real 85 911 at sunset.

The AI generated images remind me of when CD music was released.

The AI generated 911 is a CD of Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon. Pretty good, but missing that “something”

Glen’s ‘85 is the Master Cut vinyl of the same album played on a Nakamichi turntable through Klipsch speakers, yo.

Jus sayin’

AI does pretty well with the car, monkeys?
Not so much

Windshield vs monkey placement is a little off

Who knew monkeys can reach right through glass?

On the other hand, when instructed to create a 1983 Honda Interceptor with a Gorilla riding it got the Gorilla pretty accurate, but the Interceptor is just all wrong!!

Not an inline 4 at all, come on AI!!

What if you don't use the word Porsche and say, "sleek sports car with sloping hood and headlights on raised fenders". What would it look like?
