ExFAT to NTFS or FAT32

I am setting up a Bluesound Node which supposedly can access files on a drive, but apparently that drive must be in either NTFS or FAT32 format. FAT32 may be limited to only 32GB, and my music library is closer to 200GB, so I guess I should use NTFS.

My music library is currently located on an SSD drive (Crucial X6) which is apparently in ExFAT format. Can I just get another Crucial X6 and copy these music files onto it, in NTFS format? If so, then how? My computer is a Mac.

I do have access to a Microsoft-based laptop, if needed. It looks like that would more easily format a drive to NTFS compared to using a Mac.

I really am technically illiterate. Am I on the right track?

Yup, format it on a Windows machine as NTFS and then copy the files from one to the other
