I found this article on vehicle-to-everything interesting. I'd think it would go a long way towards driverless vehicles becoming predominant. What are your thoughts?

I haven't yet read the article, but I think it would be possible to eventually have an automated driving experience. I think it would take an enormous amount of infrastructure, redundancy, and intelligence, and I don't know if the govt has the stuff to do it.
