^wow. Thanks for that video. It sums up (love it or hate it) where I am with music. No little "speedbumps" along the way. You go all in looking for a note, and you can hear the search along the way,
This is something modern music doesn't have. Too polished. Too produced. That dude "sproings" into the note. Nearby where I live, we have an "antiques road show" music guru. We talk of this often. I can't wait to meet him some more to speak of of this video. It clarifies what Nashville autotune country popular product misses. ![]() Ps- wait for next week's Banjo thread!

Just one more thing. My guitar teacher told me that string (quartets for example) sound sweeter because they can play more perfect notes by ear than with frets. There's always a bit of imprecision with fretted instruments.
