Goof off didn't work for me, neither did rubbing alcohol. Will try veg oil next. There's a few big blobs on my windshield.

I'd cut them off a windshield with a razor blade, then clay bar the whole windshield.

Oh yeah, that's been my go to for their removal even on painted surfaces. I was really hoping for a easier and none dangerous method. I am not very good with a knife

Nobody has mentioned that if you have enough sap...it can be made into syrup for your pancakes for breakfast.

Speaking of pancakes, I went to IHOP, and had a five stack today with maple syrup!

Back on topic, I soaked a 12 x 12 rag with paint thinner and flattened it out on the hood. I let it sit for 15 or 20 minutes. No change. I’m going to do the same with various recommendations.

Also, I ordered a 3 inch buffer with various grades of foam pads. After I go through the chemical trials and that doesn’t work, I’ll give the 3 inch buffer a try with rubbing compound and polishing compound.

I always like to say that with a hemoglobin A1C in the teens, their blood would be sweet enough you could put it on pancakes.

There was bug and tar remover I bought in Texas that was the only thing would get the Love Bugs off my car.
