I remember when Nostatic called out TE years ago, and rightfully so .... such a unique and awesome player .... and I tried (although I've never seen him live, in person) .... his music just doesn't take me "there" .... but it ain't his fault ...

I did enjoy his collaborations with John Hiatt tho' .... 'cause his music does

He's a great dude.
And he gives back, too.
Every year, there's a "Chet Atkins Society" meeting in Nashville.

About 4 solid days of all things finger style (Chet Atkins). Great workshops and a huge concert at the end. Usually attended by all the remaining "Certified Guitar Players" - a term penned by Chet.

TE and all the others are very involved in encouraging young players. "The young thumbs" get a couple sessions. Our daughter was able to play for and with TE and some really talented others.

Nostatic, Todd Richmond, years ago. He is obviously very bright but also spread his intellect across multiple mediums. Not bowing down to him saying that, I think he and I could have had some very interesting conversations on topics I am more expert in.



Sad to see that nostatic has deleted so many of his posts years back. I am confident he is doing well, despite the coyote encounter on his Ducati so many years ago. I believe he is still riding MC with his lovely wife.
