Funny but... It's only a matter of time until a big one hits our Earth.

However with the right attitude, resources and time we could do something to push that big one off course.

- Really big asteroid hits could be one of the Great Filters.

Odds of death from asteroid strike are greater than many things people usually care about. Big numbers/effects but vanishingly small probabilities make risk assessment really fun "out in the tails"...
