Why not some sort of beam alarm that you can place on each side of the road that when broken sets off an alert on your phone. You van set it a little higher to avoid small animals setting it off? Or a guard tower with an armed guard might work as well

Sounds like a really good, well thought out idea. I say you go for it!

ROFLMAO!

You forgot to suggest a video camera pointed at the spike strips so we can all see the results on YT.

I agree with everything said about not trying to put the nails out. We have a very long driveway and when we first moved here 12 years ago, I had to pull a number of people out of the field when they tried to turn around and got stuck. Couple that with having young daughters home and at times alone we decided to put a very friendly sign at the entrance saying “private driveway no turnaround”. Within a few weeks, we put up a cattle gate with an automatic gate opener. Problem solved.
We now leave the gate open full-time and I have taken down the sign and occasionally still have people come down the drive. I’m about to put the sign back up at our entrance.

Have the gate motorized and close it after they get in.
