Your tire pressure is low. You're welcome.

Does that year still have the traditional inline 6 motor? That is a great engine. Had one in my '98 328i cab.

When you hit 300k miles you can drop a $1700 crate, Chevy 350 in it!

No sensors in these winter wheels but would like to put a set in.

Yes, inline 6, change the oil religiously every 5K miles using Liqui Moly.

If this engine ever goes I would love to put a 335 turbo in it.

That's great Shaun. Just curious, how many cars do you own? Daily drivers and "others."

I had over 325k miles on my first BMW E36 325i when I sold it. Engine was never opened up and the last couple years I daily drove it, I was way over 10k between oil changes and used cheap dyno oil in it the entire time I owned it.

I have an E46 300i with around 240k on the clock.... Always serviced with Walmart synthetic.

Thanks Fred. I follow the if one thing is broken, fix both sides (as appropriate) and fix everything rule. So one front wheel bearing means both get replaced at the same time. Rear wheel bearing, everything other than the caliper got replaced. Both sides. Axle bolts and plates I just Cerakoted.

Drivable cars include the Cayenne, BMW, Scirocco and 84 911. Not drivable is a 69, 73, 76 and 928 and 70 Fiat Spider. 928 I'm having a customer who is a 928 specialist finish rebuilding the motor for me so that might be on the road next September.

You need to cerakote that diff next and maybe the tube (mount for suspension) above it! Who'd you send the stuff out to for the cerakote?

Good call on doing things in pairs where appropriate. Fixing stuff before it breaks certainly makes life a bit less exciting, and I can do without that kind of excitement.

The diff I do want to have dry ice blasted and then probably POR15. That’s next spring.

Fixing stuff before it breaks makes so much sense if time is your most valuable commodity. It also makes jobs easier and a little more fun and rewarding like having a brand new rear end

One thing to note is the car has a magic clutch. It’s original. Slightly soft right now but will be a year or two before I need to put one in.

I’m the same way. I never understood somebody replacing a shock or a wheel bearing, etc. Besides, after the first one, you learned how to do it, and the second one goes by a lot quicker.
