Don't go on this Snap-On truck!
I don't know what area she works, but she'd be hard to resist...

I think you just like the way she said "comfort knob"...

I have had a speed handle like that for decades and never use it. We used to use them a lot when I worked on aircraft (on the flightline). I think electric/power tools have largely replaced them except here they are not allowed (spark hazard).
Why do folks buy from Snap-On trucks unless they need a tool immediately? I can find everything I need new on EBay for about half the price. |

I assume folks buy from the truck because it comes to them. But holy moly, the cost is insane (or so I've heard). |

Agreed...pros may have a need for snap-on quality & service, but they do pay for it! |
I had a female Snap on Dealer for 10+ years. She looked nothing like that, but was super cool. She was a farm girl, a real tough lady . Drove Semi trucks, farmed, repiared tractors, and equipment. She was also an awesome dealer, super knowledgable about the products, and auto repair in general . She was probably one of my better reps over the years.

I can justify having a 1/2 and 3/8 speed wrench from HF. If nothing else they look nice stored on the inside top of my toolbox, but they also do get used occasionally. Me owning the S-O version would just prove to my dad that he did, indeed, raise a moron.
(That would be the scariest Snap-On truck in the world. Imagine being a horny 23 year old mechanic when she shows up. The little chuckle she gives when she says 16 5/8 tells you that she knows exactly what she's doing and if she's not the top seller in her area, then she must drive a tool truck in San Francisco.) |
I've used one many times...but it looked different.

Those are called a hand brace. We used an auger for big holes where a lot of torque was needed. I have a rather large one in my basement still...just because. |
^^^ My G'pa was a carpenter by trade. I would go with him in his later years to watch him.
When there is no electric, the hand brace was the tool. The hand cross-cut saw was also heavily used. |
She's probably in her mid 50s but wow..

I was in need of a deep shank 8 mm socket to take apart a piece of equipment. I found a Snap On truck and as I approached it, a lady in full Karen mode was telling the rep, OK, my husband's account is paid up, but you had better not ever sell him one more tool on credit, or you will never get paid! And she stomped off. Thee rep muttered something like I am glad she ain't my wife.
He had the socket I needed, and I paid him cash and had the will power not to hang around and buy more tools I "needed". |

Where is she? I'll buy a screwdriver!

I just watched the video (well, part of it). She's lovely. But I have to say, the filters that so many folks use these days bug me. I suspect she's attractive enough that she doesn't need the filter, and with the filter, she looks odd.
