I deleted social media due to this. Instagram was fun when i could follow and only see the posts of organizations i was interested in. I want to see cool nasa/nist stuff, not obese chicks with flapping tig ole bitties. Same thing with Snapchat.

The irony is that Gizmodo itself is running a couple dozen java scripts (identified by noscript), forty seven trackers are being blocked (by privacy badger), and I can't get rid of the pop-up player to disappear in the corner. It's difficult to read the page with the carny lights.
