Whoever is whatching Dune Prophecy, help ?
I realize this is happening 10K years before and is very much an origins of the bene gesserit story, but I feel I am gonna need to buy a "Dune
![]() SPOILERS So the Bene gesserit have a computer heh? considering how they value the human brain that's interesting They have collective hallucinations ? Are they of the Kwisatz Haderach ? the place they cannot go ? is that the stuff they are all drawing ? What is "Ragnar Lothbrok" exactly, where the f$%$# does he get this weird power from? is he one of the early non-Kwisatz Haderach that went crazy cause he's not "the one" like Paul atreides (or am I confusing that concept with the wheel of time where the non-dragon-elect go crazy?) Is this what starts the bene gesserit searching towards more inbreeding of the great houses for the right one? This is confusing, and do not get me started with the Atreides being "cavemen" in the forest and "almost" traitor terrorists while the Harkonnen are apparently "the good ones"... Oy vey. Head hurts. If anyone has clarity... Also, I really liked Ragnar in Vikings, but "Travis Fimmel" seems to have one acting mode: "cray cray", a la jack nicholson... (cue Raised by wolves an Dune prophecy) |

Yes it is the Bene Gesserit origin. Interestingly the two sisters are actually Harkonnen. Yes it is complicated and makes my head hurt as well.
I try to ignore certain arcs and keep the big picture in mind but I've read ALL of the books several times over. The Kwisatz Haderach is a male with the powers of a Bene G. The women of the Bene G gain access to genetic memory through the water of life but only the X chromosome of the women. The Kwisatz would have access to Y chromosome memories. That is the memories of ALL ancestors. Yeah it's complicated.
