Drone activity on east coast
So a couple months ago it was over Langley AFB, now its over NJ-large drones, lit with nav lights, flying over military installations, civilian infrastructure and even Trump's Bedminster course.
Is this espionage, or someone just pranking us? |
Considering the Chinese spy balloon.
Btw flying a drone over a military installation is a big no no |

Shoot it down so you can do a closer inspection.

I suspect Paul knows something but he's not saying...

Hard to really tell if they are manned or not. I would have like to have seen navigation lighting. I spent a few minutes looking for a good res pic, no joy. If anyone has one, I'd be interested. |
Not hi res by any means, but in this vid you can clearly see a red light port and what appears to be a green light starboard with white lights of some kind in the center.
The v formations reported were also seen over Langley last year. https://taskandpurpose.com/news/mystery-drones-langley-afb/ https://www.foxnews.com/video/6363291742112 An odd coincidence that both swarms occurred in the first week of December? |
They had some at an American base back in the third world too.

It is strange they are flying at night only. With expensive infrared they can see a lot on the ground, and heat signatures of the different buildings. Our company flew Cape Canaveral for a company that had the contract with NASA. Our customer supplied us a super high dollar (six figures) infrared camera, attached to a laptop with high dollar software. The camera had a built in refrigeration unit that cooled the sensor to hundreds of degrees below zero. We flew it with a Cessna 206 and a two man crew. NASA turned off virtually all the regular lights. Our customer processed it to show were likely water leaks in buildings and heat loss in the buildings. But we had to fly it in the daytime as well, so they could align the infrared with the layout of the cape from the daytime images.
NASA knew we were there, and they were talking to the pilots. One flew the airplane, the other operated the camera running off of a power inverter. They are large drones, and everyone wants to know what they are doing. |
Jesse Waters speculated it's one of our defense contractors running tests...but that's all we have, speculations.

Sounds like both DHS and the military don’t know what they are or how to deal with them.
Pretty scary if they were foreign entities’ testing responses… |

I saw the clip and I was embarrassed for him. We have secure flight test ranges all over the UAS and any tests would be done in those areas, period. Ask me how I know. None of what I have seen and read about couldn't be tracked by airport radar without IFF. The speculation drives me nuts. |

People here are absolutely losing their sheite over this. Had a few over my neighborhood other night. Town Facebook page had people freaking out.
. |
Watching national news this morning they are saying " some " of these drones are the size of a car ! That's a big piece of flying equipment . Not your normal Best Buy type item . That's assuming the size reference is accurate . I am curious myself on what it's all about .
