Favorite emails to recieve....Not

I shouldn't complain....My Medicare Advantage plan offers these in lieu of a colonoscopy after age 70
And it's free.

Garage
now imagine your job is doing the tests; 40 hours a week of people literally sending you crap!

I'm sure mine will be coming soon too- they may just mail me a kit without notice.

^^^
I'm thinking they have a bot to do the job...maybe not

I used to get them with the nurse who came to my home for the yearly health consultation.

They quit that a couple years ago...I don't know why. Some of the gal nurses that came out were very attractive.
The last one that came out was a guy, about 30 years old that looked like he played lineman for an NFL team.

I think a cologuard email has got to be way better than an email that says, "We'll be sending you the stuff that you'll be taking and drinking for your 36 hour roto-rooter session before you come down for your colonoscopy."

Make sure, I sure you did, that your Primary Care Doctor requested it.

Unfortunately, there are scammers out in this specific market, at least according to my PCP.

He did also say that the false positive rate is high enough to do two.

^^^ I'm thinking it was requested by Priority Health....my Medicare Advantage Plan.
The nurses that came to my home brought the kits with them for my yearly visits were from there.

If I knew it was a scam....my neighbor has a full size dog. Would be much easier.

Just be sure. The big kit, I kid you not, is the one you want...the nurse I dealt with at my PCP was adamant about the scams. "Look at the order sheet."

This was last week. I can wait until the kit arrives

^^^ I guess I'm not sure what you mean by 'the big kit'?
The last 8-10 years I have been given a kit that arrived in a box the size of a wristwatch box.

All have come back negative.

I remember when they first came out...they just sent a cardboard with a swab stick. Just swab some on the cardboard and send it in. One year, I forgot about the holiday and it sat in the mailbox for two days in the middle of the summer....lol

Now they use a tube filled with liquid. The cap has the swab and is returned with the test in the tube.

Oh, I know

What the nurse told me was my PCP will request the more comprehensive kit because the small kit is often mailed without a Dr's request.

All that said, no worries as long as you are comfortable with how you received the small test kit.
