101 Facts About Porsche

https://youtu.be/U9BfED6P4DU?si=q2X6p6qgQobxZdLL

This popped up in my YouTube feed this morning. So, how many of these "facts" are actually correct?

I'm, not up on the late models, but when talking the early 911 longnoses, I saw nothing false.

I was only able to make it to #15. So far, it all sounded correct, although I wonder about the "no Porsches have ever had grills" thing since it seems like the Cayenne and Macan have had grills.

I'm only 1/3 the way through it, but enjoying it, thanks.

A fact that has been rattling around in my head for some time; the Porsche 911 has won more races than any other car.

Plus, Porsche has the highest percentage of cars still in going order.

It is hard to believe him as an expert when he deliberately pronounces Porsche for the entire video.

I don't know why, but it annoys me that the narrator pronounces "Porsche" with only one syllable for the majority of the video...

And his discussion of the paint-to-sample program is kinda insulting.

Some interesting facts nonetheless.

He did mention early on that he would mispronounce the name as one syllable "porsh" and not the proper two syllable, "por-sha." I find that very disrespectful, and I don't even own a Porsche.

In an interview Mr Porsche said my name is pronounced Porsche (with a semi silent a on the end) but you can pronounce the name of the car any way you like.

Number 64 was describing the 912 four cylinder engine and showed a picture of a 911 6 cylinder engine. Pretty interesting video though.

First inconsistency. Butzi Porsche designed the 911. #57

Erwin Komenda did. Butzi (mouth breather) may have been in the building (meaning he surely did something but it was not all him). Komenda spent much time with Reutter on manufacturing the 911.

The pr*cks assasinated Komenda. Back stabbing MF'rs. I have read he left for a couple years and read also he died while still employed.

Oh shiet, there goes my AFIB. Thanks, Marty.

Article about the creation. Says Ferry put two techs with Butzi to make sure it was not just an (another?) art project. No details and that probably means something.

Komenda also was integral to the 904 development but I'm confident Butzi was into that deeper.
