http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1738638131.jpg Ive never driven a 323, but the 121 is a complete dog. But then again, it only has 60 hp and 1900 lbs. double that hp (B6T from a GTX) and it would be very “zoom zoom”. |
I do think new Mazdas are probably some of the better cars on the market if you’re looking for general transportation. I rent a lot of various cars for work travel, and I tend to avoid giant SUVs and such. New CX30 rental was a nice car and comfortable for the 5 hour destination.
And I am an old fan of the early Miata’s. Have had one or 3 always hanging around since November 1990 when my base model, white one arrived at the dealership after a few months wait. Steel wheels, plain Jane for $13,900... with dealer installed AC. The BRG is a keeper, and has been in the fleet for 17 yrs or so. Seldom driven these days but always starts and ready to go anywhere at anytime. Don’t think many new cars will be as accommodating when they’re 33+ yrs old. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1738643431.jpg |
Back in the day, I've owned a Mazada 1200 sedan and 4 of their pickup trucks....Ran one up to 256,000 miles w/o issue.......Most underrated vehicle out there...

I would take a 121 that needs work AND is overpriced instead of a new BMW Mini. |
I bought a brand new 1980 626 5 speed
coupe in red. Very reliable and fun car. The car was not super fast but I always had fun with BMW 320i s. |
