The Joe Rogan Experience with Fedor Gorst
Fedor Gorst, as Joe said one of a handful of top professional pool players. I'd say right now, it's a tossup between he & Joshua Filler of Germany for who is #1. I found it interesting..Rogan talking of his "wild side" experiences of pool, while Fedor spoke of his experience of learning cue sports at an early age, being coached in a game treated as the beautiful sport it can be. Fedor saying he prefers thinking of himself as a touring tournament pro as opposed to a cash player. "But you do gamble...what's the biggest one you ever played?" "The most I've won was fifty-one thousand..." HA!
Rogan is a pretty good amateur player, and they obviously played on Rogan's table before the interview began. Fedor was nice, saying Rogan played better than he expected. One that picked me up was Rogan saying he'd like the public to learn just what a complicated but beautiful game it is, saying he was thinking of setting up matches between top players, streaming on youtube with he commentating. Yes, I'd like that. With a true pro at the microphone, it would be a huge uptick from what I normallyu watch. Final observation...at 22, Fedor shows an amazing amount of maturity and intelligence. No need to watch the entire 2 hours, that comes through right away.
