I had thought of Audiolab too but, it’s the slot load that is tripping me up. Audiolab now has a slot load but, didn’t back in the 80s. Matter of fact, I don’t remember any companies that used a slot load back then. First slot loads I ever saw were in car audio, not home. Slot trays got slimmer but, they were still tray.

My Google-fu is fubar.

The hard part about drawing it is I don’t actually have a super clear idea of what it looked like and my art skills are poor!

I believe slots are Blu-ray based drives, making it produced later than June 2006.
