Does anyone manufacture a non plastic water bottle?

Looking for a water bottle that does not have any plastic (including the lid or cap)…

Is this available in the United States?

We got metal ones with metal caps as swag during a blood drive. Chinese made.

I’ll see if I can dig it up.

Most have a rubber or elastomer seal. Is that ok?

I think there are some where the inside/bottom of the lid is silicone (what touches the liquid) but some of the lid may be a hard plastic.

I prefer the Swiss made metal ones, but yes they all have gaskets.

Look at Kleen Canteen. The body is stainless steel. The cap is a tough plastic (nylon, I think) but has a metal insert with a silicone seal. No plastic touches your water. You can take the lid off and put it on a camp stove to melt snow in it without trouble.

Yep, that's the one that I was thinking about above.

I remember those old glass lined thermoses. They were a nightmare. It seemed they were the most delicate glass around or the lunchboxes that they were in amplified every shock by 10.

I've been using an aluminum bottle for years, and it holds up great without any plastic involved. If you're looking for something completely plastic-free, it's worth avoiding bottles that have plastic liners or caps. A lot of reusable bottles start as a pet preform before they’re blown into shape, so even some metal ones might have had plastic involved at some stage. Glass might be the safest bet if that matters to you.

Be trendy and use a Mason jar or a Grolsch bottle.
