A really nice 67? mustang I towed on Sunday afternoon, handed down to a really nice young lady from her Dad after his passing .
Super clean , rust free California car . She didnt know many details about the build, but the 289 sounded pretty stout when she started it .

Can't see the grille and the side trim is missing but that is a '65 or '66 Mustang. Very cool looking one as well!

It's a '66 GT based on gas cap (66) and exhaust (65-66 GT).

I had a 64 1/4 (launched April 19, 1964 at the World Fair) with a 260V8. Barnfind, diamondplate floors, motor was so scored it would have needed to be sleeved. Ended up just selling it and getting a 240Z that needed rear wheel bearings, no one in town could fix it, bought a Haynes manual and the addiction has been with me ever since.

Great looking Jag, though.

The Series 1 XKE is the celebrity here, I never implied that the people were famous. They’re not. Just one of the legions of hot cars I’ve never seen before here.

Robert Blake and Peter Falk would be between 90 and 100 years old if they were alive, fwiw. They would not be driving.

Agreed...and to my eyes, still the best looking Mustang body of all. Also, a semi weird stat that both the Mustang and the 911 have been continuously made since 1964. Not usual in the car world...

According the the badge its a HiPo, a "K"car, super rare and likely a 65. All Shelbys started with the HiPo engine; solid lifters.

Honestly, looking at the 2 drivers, you couldn't tell who was more surprised.
