New spoon day

Sold off a Ruger American Ranch in 300bo (pos that it was) and a Howa mini in 223 I couldnt get to group

Rural King is closing out some Savage 110s, so I grabbed one in 6.5 Creedmore

Sadly RK has a corporate policy that made me wait longer than the law requires (when check is done vs when money is given) so instead of picking up Wednesday I get to pick it up today

Already have scope and sling, but still need reloading dies, bullets and a more appropriate powder than what I have. Should be able to reload for 60-70c/rnd vs the $1.50-2.50 per round for factory fodder

That 6.5 Creedmoor seems to be all the rage today, doesn't it? And for good reason. What do you plan on using it for? Which particular variety of Savage 110? (I swear they make a dozen variants at least).

This is the Savage 110 Trail Hunter. 22" medium heavy barrel, threaded, 4 round detachable mag, Hogue stock.

Using it for paper and steel to 400 yards, and depending on how things line up possibly for deer - my Howa 762x39 is great for deer but only to 150 yards or so, and my only other center fires are 223 or 44mag

Had some scope mounting issues, the 2 piece mounts are too far apart for the body tube part of my scopes, so I need to get a 1 piece mount so I can finish setting this thing up.

I have a Savage 110 Weather Warrior or something in .338 Win Mag I bought 20 or so years ago. It’s stainless with a black poly stock and has been all over CO in snow, rain, etc. you name it. It isn’t pretty or fancy but I’ve taken elk and deer with it.
