If you buy one you can always go a bit larger and place strips of self stick weather stripping inside the inner hat band to "tighten up" and make it comfortable.

Pro tip: Get yourself a hat feather to add a bit of panache' and Bon Vivant-ness.

I'll find the straw version to try before I give it up and put a sack over my head. maybe not a white sack with eye holes...just keep it up on top, like a rag.

Cowboy hat. Every man looks good in a cowboy hat. From what you said, you probably need a lower crown like this one.

Are you kidding. The fact that Vash is hanging out of the bottom of the hat is what gives the panaché.

I'm sure that Vash could pull off a cowboy hat, but I don't know that a cowboy hat is his style.

I'm just under an 8, 63.75cm.

My folks wanted to buy me a hat in ecuador, didn't believe me when I warned them it would be tough. Gave them the size and they actually a shop that was able to reblock an existing hat to my size. Not my style but it fits!

LOL!

We'll all pitch in to get you a starter kit, a pair of wranglers, some boots, a Stetson cowboy hat, and a huge rodeo silver and gold buckle. The ladies won't be able to resist you! (despite living in Texas, surrounded by cows, I don't have any of those items)

Nice! LOL, "XXL" and it was too small. I primarily wear my hats when it's hot and the sun is in overdrive, so I sweat like a mofo. I like the Tilleys because they are machine washable. I'd hate to get a nice hate that I ended up having to throw out because I'd soaked it in sweat.

Wife tells me that with my hair it would be a crime for me to wear a hat

Large melon, tiny compared to my father

I too have a full head of hair, like my Grandfather did , and a big head as well. But my Grandfathers hair maintained the color of his youth, mine turned white at an early age, better than turning loose.
I have a assortment of hats, depending on the occasion (as well as a assortment of ties)

Somewhere, there is a Vash hat of some sort.
I'm the opposite. As a (bald) ginger who has spent most of his life in the desert...I know it's only a matter of time before I have skin issues. I've started looking for "better" hats but I feel like I look like an idiot in every one I try on, except baseball caps.

You have to be careful, but I add a little bleach, to the wash cycle to kill the bacteria. Cotton is really bad for odors. Makes them smell good too.

I inherited my dad‘s talent for sweating, just thinking about work. 🥵
