Porsche Parade 2025 registration closes tomorrow.

If you have never been to Porsche Parade, you have missed a fun week of great people, and an overload of Porsches.

https://www.porscheparade.org/

Registration closes tomorrow. We have some great tours set up. Oklahoma has no fun mountain roads in central OK, but compared to the Boca Raton, FL parade we are a mountain state

Just PM me if you are attending, and we can make an effort to meet up in the hotel bar and I will buy you a beer.

I think it's so cool that someone who attends PP every year gets a chance to attend in their own state! Have fun and show your buddies why people say Texas is the gateway to Oklahoma!

The link is fixed!

My wife and I drove to the Vermont Parade back in 2016. We decided to drive through all the New England states, and some others. I got to visit Seahawk and other members of Pelican. We hit a lot of museums as there is a bit of history in that part of the country.

The total round trip was just over 5,000 miles. Next year Parade will be in Lake Placid, NY. Another long drive for us.

This year I have to drive 12 whole miles! No hotel stay this year. It will be my 22nd Porsche parade.

The best part for me is not having to pack my 911 with all of that. Two weeks of clothes for my wife and myself. And yea, all of that came out of my car. And the tool bag and car wash stuff was left in the car!

I am the lead on several tours. My wife will be the sweep in her Macan, and she is bringing her best friend along, so both cars are going to participate.

Hard to believe, Parade work begins on Thursday for me.

For any of you coming to Parade, look me up. I will be displaying my 85 Carrera at the concours corral. I just turned 200,000 miles, so no I will not enter the concours. It is a very nice car, but the wheel wells are covered in road grime.

Send me a PM, and we can exchange cell phone numbers and I will buy you a beer at the hotel beer pub, or someplace else that has pretty much any beer sold in Oklahoma. Hundreds of beers, and it is a Irish themed pub.

I have lots of fellow Pelicans, From all over the country.

Glenn,
A friend is coming with a 4.3L 911 build for the cars initial roll out.
Check out the latest in 911 big bore engines from Jai Lee.

I will look for him. I am not shy in any situation. I will talk to anyone, so if I see him, I will caht hime up. That is a big bore engine, wow 4.3 liters. I bet he did not build that for fuel economy.

Glenn is absolutely worth the visit, I was fortunate enough to meet him at the Parade in Savanna, truly a Gentleman and Scholar and one of us “Old School” guys in a sea of Boxster leasers, who are truly clueless about the history of the brand, but him a beer and soak up his decades of knowledge, history and experience.
I truly wish I could be there.
