Do clay wash mitts work ?

I have had both the clay mitt and the clay bar towel.
The clay bar towel is bigger and better.
The towel makes better contact with the surface and uses surface tension so no real pressure required.
Where the mitt is a smaller size surface and does not have any water surface tension and required more hand pressure.
With the mitt I could see it only worked where my fingers were applying pressure so it was not as consistent at cleaning as the clay bar towel.
Have used the clay bar towel for a decade, its great on all my cars, truck and trailer.
I just use soapy water with the clay bar towel.
A clay bar towel last for many car washes.
