Anybody ever watch Stadium Super Trucks?
These guys are absolutely bonkers on the track with their super trucks. Going 15 feet up in the air off jumps, on three wheels going around corners, hitting each other, etc. I probably watched about 20 short videos.

Always loved that racing, especially when it started back in Ivan Stewart days.

It's fun, but after 20 minutes or so, it's just like watching Swamp Buggies, to me.
They used to air Stadium truck racing on dirt tracks, like motocross, on ESPN, (I think Mickey Thompson started it) and that was kind of cool. There was a mix of desert racers like Ivan Stewart and pro motocrossers like Ricky Johnson driving and they would beat and bang on those trucks, body panels flying off, taking jumps sideways, lots of crashes and exciting finishes. I know the new series is Robbie Gordon's brainchild, but I don't think it's as fun as the old racing was. But that's true with a lot of televised racing. Most actually.

CORR trucks at tracks like Crandon are fun as well.

No disrespect, but once you have seen a trophy truck flat out across a dry lake bed in Baja, it doesn't get any better.
Half the adventure is getting to your favorite viewing spot. See ya in November.

It's ridiculous fun when done on a street course.

Think they're awesome, I'd pay to watch a stadium super truck race before an F1 race

The Laguna Salada dry lake is the highest speed portion of the Baja 1000.
Its located below Mexicali about 30Km. Its part of the viewing route we follow to watch the race leaders show up at various places .
