Frozen Pizza

I don't know of any good ones, at least none that are available around here. We have one option for delivery pizza and it's awful.
We are in the middle of moving our household (and barns and garage) so we have no time to dine - we just eat whatever is fast and easy.
We found Red Barron frozen Pizza has a decent crust - a little crisp on top with a chewy center. I add some thinly sliced onion, sliced San Marzano tomatoes, two or three tablespoons of tomato paste, some granulated garlic, Italian seasoning mix, extra
pepperoni, and Mozzarella. It takes about 10 minutes to dress it up and 20 minutes to bake, so it fits our schedule.

You can see from the box the toppings are kinda sparse. I start making it interesting by adding onions, tomatoes, and tomato paste.

I spice it up with Italian seasoning and garlic granules from Galena Garlic Company. I think it's the next best thing to fresh garlic. Garlic powder is tasteless in comparison.

Finish it up with extra pepperoni and Mozzarella.

They say you are what you eat. If that's true I've become fast, cheap, and easy.

I like a deep dish with crispy sides. These are my favorites.

I am so glad you posted this.

I found the below video a couple weeks ago where they analyzed 20-30 frozen pizzas and Red Baron was in the top handful even tho many were far more expensive. They really enjoyed it an it was #1 ranked for a bit. Go to 16:50 in for the analysis. (EDIT: Steve just posted. Motor City Pizza is ranked highly and more economical)

Unfortunately, I do not see a summary list except 1-10 (near the end) and the comments (mainly about the girl's ranking skills in the video) are a bit vicious but the Red Baron pizza came out a winner as a very solid pizza.

You embellishing the goodies on top is fantastic as I have no seasoning skills except what people suggest I do.

Best frozen pizza I have had. Put some good Parm Cheese on the edges and let it bake into the sides of the crust.
I have seen them stocked at Walmart, Costco, and Sams.

Both are in stock at Walmart nearby. (RB and MCPC)

I have a purpose now.

I really like the DiGiorno Detroit crust. It’s a deep dish and the crust edges get very crisp.

I’m gonna venture a guess and say abuncha cardiologists invented Motor City Pizza. They all got boats to pay for.

As such, consider this post an endorsement.

Frozen pizza is supposed to be cheap not great. The Red Barron thin and crispy pepperoni is always in the freezer for a back up dinner plan.

I'll buy the smaller "personal size' frozen Red Barons sometimes for those times I need a quick pizza fix. There's 2 in a box and they don't take up much room in the freezer. Usually get the Deep Dish Supreme......

Or when you want a late night snack, nothing in the fridge looks good, and you don't want to bother with making something. We keep a frozen Digiorno rising crust "in case of emergency". We add some additional pepperoni on top before baking. The thicker the crust, the less it tastes like cardboard. I'd eat the box before I'd eat a frozen thin crust pizza.

I can never remember which ones I like and which ones I don't.

But I do, do the dressing up trick, and that can make a pretty OK pizza with minimal work input. I buy shredded chicken so it's already cooked and in bits and already grated cheese. It's all about making it easy I recon.

You lift the frozen pizza out of the tray, grease the tray with some butter, sprinkle with granulated garlic, place pizza back in tray and cook in oven. Good stuff!

I am not picky but I like thin crust, any brand. I cover it with sliced summer sausage and it is good to go.

I found some really tasty fresh ingredient take and bake corn-crust pizzas in the deli cooler at the local hoochy-coochy grocery store. Less than 10 bucks each, and just as easy as the frozen stuff.

I like the Screamin' Sicilian frozens, too, but these corn-crusts are now my go too when it's pizza night.

Every pizza is healthy! It's the perfect food! Pizza can touch of every single food group how can that be unhealthy??

On topic, when I'm not making my own in the Ooni, I snag a take n bake from Walmart and spice it up a bit with toppings like what is pictured above.

Screamin Sicilian is good but lately, my go-to frozen pizza has been the DiGiorno Loaded Carnivore thin crust, in fact, I had it last night.
