He was only sentenced for 8 years for stealing 21 million dollars worth of lunar rocks.
And the rocks are contaminated now. Doesn't seem to be right.

I'm sure the Astronauts who were part of collecting these rocks were not happy.
He was ordered to pay more than $9,000 in restitution to NASA.
