A BIL had one of those. He was a Mercury man up until he bought the 73 Cougar wagon. It was such a POS that his next vehicle was a K car!

Just a smaller POS. I had a 78 LTDII coupe. Same platform as the Cougar and also a POS.
Seems like the Mustangs and GM A bodies (Monte carlo, etc.. ) were the few American cars that survived the 80s.
