I cant fart without being asked to do a survey afterwards.

gah..

I just visited a dentist and all she did was say, "nope, beyond my scope, go next door and talk to the guy with bigger drills - wait, let me do some X-rays before the guy next door does his x-rays"

she was nice, personable, borderline delightfully happy for a dentist.

but I dont want to do a survey!

I bought a spool of fishing line, and bassproshop just sent me a survey. hahah....

I'm going to fart. I'll do that survey.

good Lord, this is getting nuts. I'll save my dentist yelp review for AFTER she installs the crown. give her something to work towards. :D

Yea, everyone wants a survey now days. I just ignore them all.

Steve Carlton 10-07-2025 08:23 AM

Can I do a survey with stars?

LEAKYSEALS951 10-07-2025 08:28 AM

How do I review Yelp?

Steve Carlton 10-07-2025 08:52 AM

In a mixed way.

When I fart, I ask Vicki to fill out a survey. Results are generally negative, but I do pretty well on the duration question.

Somehow the tech industry figures good salesmanship and customer service is to bug the **** out of the customer thru constant, egregious harassment.

Why, I have no idea why. Main reason I have bogus phone#'s and email addresses on record.

What’s your score on wetness?

gacook 10-07-2025 11:43 AM

I don't do surveys--ever--unless something REALLY good or REALLY bad happened.

john70t 10-07-2025 11:45 AM

Ask female to leave a negative review.

Rating this thread 5 stars. Would read again.

Switching to 4 stars. Don't like the fart content.

A930Rocket 10-07-2025 05:29 PM

I hate surveys. They go into the trashcan right away.

I used to work for the Cisco TAC (my company was outsourced to/for the TAC). Every Cisco case results in a survey. On the backend you had your "bingo score" which was the average of all of your survey scores (scores were 1 - 5 with 5 being good). Since we were outsourced our bingo scores were heavily monitored. We had to maintain a minimum that I think started out as 4.5 and then went to 4.59 and, I believe, went up higher after that, I don't remember for sure. It didn't take much to derail a good bingo score. I had a guy call in once, and within seconds as he described the issue, I knew what the problem was. In less than 5 mins, I had solved his problem. He gave me all 3s (I think there were 5-10 questions) because it was clearly a very simple problem so there was no point in giving me a 4 or 5.
I got a couple of all 1s scores, and those take A LOT of all 5 results to counteract. And sometimes those were because the person didn't read the instructions and thought "1" was the "best" answer.

Whenever I get a survey about a line level employee that I know is a management tool that some middle manager came up with, I always give top marks because I hate that management style.

When I first got promoted, the elevator company came to me with a yearly inspection contract and I’m not a lawyer and just looked at the total cost and it was reasonable, so I signed it and later discovered that the contract ran for ten years and renewed for ten years each time and you could only cancel in writing during the one month period before it auto renewed! Basically a lifetime contract. Well after a elevator repair was done, I got a phone survey and I praised the tech, but blasted the hell out of the “dirty” contract and their business practices. Well, the very next day the manager called and wanted to make it better, so we got an addendum that after the ten year period, it only auto renewed for a year each year. Which is good, because you never wanted to be without the yearly inspection, but now had the option to get out of it each year.

Sounds like they didn't want to let you down.
