Home for lunch and caught a snippet on the news on General Schwarzkopt's West Point service. Looked up our thread on his passing and wanted to post something. We all have busy lives but I would hope there's enough time to post your thoughts, give thanks, and maybe say good bye to an American hero.

Had a very good sense of humor as well. I still remember the interview from the Tonight Show. One of the few leaders in this country that I wouldn't feel bad having my kids look up to.

A great leader of men and a true patriot. He will be missed.
His family history is kind of interesting. His father, Major General Herbert Norman Schwarzkopf, was the lead investigator in the Lindbergh kidnapping. |
