Not a car for me, but I can’t afford it anyway. Looks very flat, low CG is good but the styling is a bit odd.

I don't love the style, but the chassis and the V8 are gorgeous. I reckon the 'homologation special' moniker is probably apt, since they have a GR GT3 race version being developed alongside.
In a way, it reminds me of the GTR; not real pretty but pretty brutal, and I haven't been to a C&C in years that there haven't been at least one or two GTR's in the lot, often modified.

I don't want to say Toyota is cheating, because they're not, but .... every car racing in WEC/IMSA GT3 were production street cars first (Porsche 911, Corvette, Mustang, Aston Martin, McLaren, etc.). Toyota have pretty much built a GT3 race car first and then said, "oh yeah, I guess we've got to build some street versions too."

I was shocked that I did not like the S2000. Fully expected to buy one, drove it and it just did not fit me. Could not believe it.
That Toyota is ugly as a mud fence

I don't see how this can become a street legal car.
I thought the required sight lines were 10 degrees down, and 26 degrees up. Might be wrong on downward angle based on many oversized pickup truck hoods. The approach and departure angles are iffy based on what I can recall. My daily driver is of mid-front engine design, and there are issues turning left into a parking spot that goes uphill, the far right front corner location is a guess at best.

Spiritual successor to the LFA. I'm excited about it and looking forward to seeing it
Instead of being negative \ critical, I'm pleased as punch to see car manufacturers still giving us fun powerful RWD sports cars. You guys should be instead asking yourself why do we need 500+hp pick-ups that are larger than a city block, more leather than a Rolls and more touch screens than the shuttle

Also I’m happy that I can load up my city block Ram Limited with five people and a bed full of gear for a lake weekend, and we can all drive 4.5 hours in leather lined comfort.

Toyota should have sent a Supra over to Multimatic like Ford did with the Mustang to build a GT3 racer. That would've been more in the spirit of the rules and would have way more fan support for a car everyone can relate to.

Did the ad say 600HP?
If so, their Gr Supra comes up to that pretty cheaply. However, two different platforms for different purposes I do suppose?
