Ok, last update, I promise.

This a.m., happy that the morphine has worn off, he made to chase a squirrel.

He's going to be fine.

Thanks for the thoughts. Jack

re: Ella--good thinking--we gave her to a friend with her original "rescue litter" for a couple days while Hank gets his feet under him.

That will be interesting as they play-fight vigorously. But there's no question who's in charge. The woman.

Give him a good pat on the head and an extra biscuit tonight! Don't ask him to shake unless he's sitting, Ha Ha.

Remember Hank the rhodie? Here he is about a month after the amputation: http://img196.yfrog.com/i/kec.mp4/

He's just as fast as before but still building endurance.

If only humans could take such a life change with the same ease...Jack

Seventy-five degrees yesterday. No tourists on the road, so Faith and I took a little trip.

I know we all think our dogs are the smartest, but...I can actually prove it. See my dog has a job. yes a job..a proper job! No it's not herding or chasing Frisbees but an actual job with a proper company and here is the proof:

Hah, nice! I hope he gets paid well.

Angel has a much larger bed, but we found that she was squeezing herself into Sherlocks bed that was shaped like this one but much smaller so got one just for her (that was a little bigger) I guess she likes to have something to rest her head on.

Sherlock had to try her bed on for size.
