Everytime I see Spanky I swear Flash is a mutant!

I'm curious to see how Flash will look when he is 2. We still can't believe all the changes Spanky has gone through...and a lot of the bulldog people we know still think he is small (some of their dogs are huge).

I hate to sound so ignorant, but what are they?? (and don't say dogs!) :D

Flash is an English bulldog...(he looks a little like a boxer as his head is developing more).

Spanky is an English bulldog.

Bailey is a Chinese shar pei.

Speeder's dog is a Furry land shark. ;) (jk) I believe it is a German Shepherd.

Yea...I figured people probably knew what Speeder's was...but "furry land shark" always makes me laugh so I couldn't resist. :)

There are a few of us who like to post pics of dogs/cats every once in a while. If you have an old picture of your furry land shark you should add it too.

My dog is a long-haired, miniature German Shepard. At least that's what they told me when I bought him, (9 weeks old). I said that I wanted a small, lap dog. They said no problem. ;)

Actually, he is a runt. He only weighs about 75lbs., his dad is ~120lbs. FWIW, he's a Heidelberg German Shepard, http://www.heidelberg-usa.com/

Denis, so it IS a long-hair. I wasn't sure but I thought so. I think this is the same breed we call the "Old German Shepherd" in the old country. if it is, then you're definitely right, he is small at only 75 lbs.

Funny.....but I only eat a little of it and put it back in the freezer. A pint can last me a pretty long time...that is if someone else doesn't snatch it and finish the whole thing in one sitting first.

Denis...I don't think your dog qualifies for a miniature. ;)

Shar pei people think our Bailey is a giant (or just plan fat...:) ). He is over 60 pounds and most are shorter and appx 45. His dad was a big guy and his mom had a really fat & wrinkly face...thus contributing to his good looks. :) :)

Last night Tim and Spanky had a dog show so I decided to take Bailey for his first porsche drive (he only slobbered on the dash once...and was a very good sitter even though he was kind of hot). I took his picture which i'll post once it is on the computer.

Ronin - That is sad you did not get any of the dog pictures when you got divorced :( ...that just doesn't sound right. We know a couple who got divorced and they had 2 goldens. They had joint custody and switched off every other weekend. :)

she took off one day and took everything she wanted with her. had a court order to get many of those things back but it's difficult to enforce as you can't go into someone's residence and start searching. she simply said that she doesn't have them, and at that point there's not much you can do about it. yep, life has a way of sucking sometimes. oh well. good deal for the other couple though!

What a huge bummer...but you're right...you have to let it go if there was nothing more you can do about it. I guess you'll have to get a new dog so you can start posting some pictures...;)

Cegerer...that was Bailey's nice picture...once we started the drive, stopped by my mom's and then my sisters and then headed home...he looked like he was going to pass out! :)

Shawn...Flash's face is already looking rounder. Those pictures are great. I love the close up ones.

My wife can't stand it when I take the "teeth" pictures. She thinks he looks like "Batboy" from the Weekly World News!

I know out of no where...Spanky will look all cute with his mouth closed...then you snap the picture and he pushed his teeth out. Either way I think it is funny.

I wish I could see more of these pictures. My work computer is currently messed up and has to be fixed. :(

In netscape navigator I can see some of the pictures...but my internet explorer is not working properly and that is what I need to see all the pics and the ones i'd post.

Oh well...i'll just have to check back after my computer is working better.
