Can't forget Rosie, 2nd generation Bengal. Grand-dad was an Asian Leopard Cat.

the pig was not mine but a friend of mine's. his wife did kinds what you describe, she came home with the thing w/o any sort of discussion with him. he eventually got over the fact that she would not consult him on such a choice.

the pig ended up being a royal pain in the ace, very high maintenance. it recently passed away due to a bladder infection, quite common in the world of pot belly pigs apparently.

I do really want a pot belly pig...but I think it might conflict with my love of bacon......so I probably won't get one any time soon. Tim is ok with me having one...he just teases me about it. They fit my stocky theme.

great additional pictures you guys. cool cat too. very interesting .

I can't even imagine what it's gonna be like when the time comes for our first dog...I got teary eyed just reading through these posts

Molly is our first dog. I wanted a siberian husky but mom said she needed a guard dog, and as much as she can be a pain in the ass sometimes, I would not trade her for anything in this world. She's about 8 1/2 years old. You know it's the right dog when they share the same birthday month as two other family members. Sometimes we even celebrate her and mom's birthday together (hers is two days after mom's). I haven't seen her for four months now...funny how I miss her more than the rest of the family Besides the first one, most of these pics are about 6 months to a year old. She's obviously more photogenic than I am

First ride in the 911

Ruf - that Molly is a looker!

Thanks for all the kind words! Not to bring this down even further, but it appears that putting Baron down was just a warm up. Last Sunday night (Monday morning) my Mom lost her battle with cancer. She had just started another round of chemo treatments but the cancer had spread to her liver and took over fast. She went to the hospital Thurs. nite, slipped in to a coma Saturday nite and passed away at 12:05am Monday morning.

Fortunately, I was able to talk to her yet Friday morning and a couple times a week for the last several months, I even talked to her on Wed. last week and she sounded better than earlier in the week though very very tired. She will be missed. I have been at Mom and Dad's house all week and will be here for another week as I will need to take care of all the bills and finances for my Dad. My Dad's health is not that great either and my Mom took care of everything in the finance dept. They had their 50th wedding anniversery in April, Dad turned 75 in May and Mom turned 70 in June. We were able to have a nice little party at the end of June as well as family pictures.

If you love your Mom - tell her. It has made it a little easier knowing that she knew how I felt as I was able to tell her that over and over for the last couple years - I can thank my wife for that as that wasn't really the norm for my family growing up.

So here I am, stuck in the middle of Iowa with no Porsches in sight! I finally logged on tonight to get a little PParts fix and try to catch up on some e-mail etc.

Now, let's see some more pictures of thos puppies! I won't see my baby for another nine days!

So sorry to hear that! As much as I get into arguments with my mom (usually car and money related), I can't bear the thought of losing her... I'm trying to convince her to start exercising regularly, as her side has a history of heart disease and she already has type II diabetes.

Wow...JrD...you are really getting dealt some heavy life challenges. I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. My dad also passed away from cancer in 92...as sad as I was not to have him here...I was glad he was not suffering anymore. Now your mom & doggy are hanging out in heaven and both feeling much better....sorry for your lose and how much you miss them...

Ruf...those are all great pictures of Molly.

I do have some new pics of the dogs outside in the "kiddy pool" when I was washing the porsche. Like usually...when I get the pics off my camera...i'll post a couple.

Thanks Sarah & Ruf - it has been a hectic couple weeks. We got back to the Bay area Monday night - needless to say, I drove the 911 to work the next day!

Things are going better and Dad seems to be doing better than we all thought.

Thanks for the kind words - now lets see some more pet pics!

Looks like Daisy is in a good location to tell you if you missed a spot....

Here are a few more pictures. Spanky slipping into the pool and a few from the cabin.

The bulldog is so funny...he climbed over rocks to get into the water and then froze...like..."now what do I do"??

Here's a couple shots of Addie - my 80lb lap dog. This is also a good representation of how she is treated. Sorry about the fuzzy pic and bright eyes - I need to work on that.

jack,

what breed is that? after asking my little sister (she has 2 dogs and is really interested in them and at the age of 13 she knows her stuff) and some other friends with some of my own research, i couldn't find anything that looked very similar to it. thanks.

It was a rainy day. I had some car stuff to do. Max just hung out and supervised. Maybe I can find one of him from the front.

All three boys still sleeping in the backyard after a warm summer night. On the right is Dusty, our 7 year old golden.
