Exclamation pict of 911 convrs. to 350 chevy w/ blower!

Thats right, I installed a front mounted, 350 Chevy w/ supercharger hooked up to an inline 400 turbo trans! The HP gain is insane and more than makes up for the slight reduction in class/sophistication.... Major re-work required under dash, passanger area, completely re-designed, but well worth the effort. I know a lot of you Porsche nuts will scream bloody murder, but you gotta admit its pretty darn cool. (no more costlyvalve adjustments for me)

tell me what you think,
more details of the mods coming soon!

I would imagine that car handles like a rubber hotdog. Did you keep the flat six out back?

Dudes,

Something just doesn't seem right about this.

Call me a skeptic but I kind of get the feeling this guy is pulling our leg.

This can't be this guy's first "rodeo". I don't think he is new to Bulletin boards. Maybe here, but I think he's testing the water to see who's who. If you get my drift.

Let's not get too spun up and see how this thing goes.

Hey Fast, more pics and who did the work?

Sounds like a swell idea! But before I buy the kit can you fill us in the some details?

What engineering did you do to the front suspension and steering rack to get the engine to fit and not collapse? Where did you put the fuel tank? What are the details of the driveline, namely what rear end are you using and how did you mate that up to the TH400?

Nice color. Is that Slate Blue?

All that chrome . . . I'm surprised we don't see any reflections from it.

Im a little disappointed in you guys.... I spent the last 3 1/2 years of my life completing this conversion and no one believes its real?????????

"why dont we see reflections from all that chrome?".... how should I know!

The fuel tank is in the back engine bay, the front suspension had to be torn out and completely fabricated and modified starting w/ an old 72' Buick front end (alot of cuttin and welding...believe me). The rear diff. is off a 928 w/ modifications to hook up w/ an old chevy drivetrain. The rear fuchs had to be shaved down 3/8" from the inside to fit under the stock wheel wells.

I had to add the upgraded cabrio chassis strengtheners between the A and B pillars so the Chevy torque does twist the beautiful Felsen Green bodywork into the worlds largest drywall screw

I had to tear out pretty much everything from the front seats to the firewall to fit the huge tranny between the seats....and if you thought the pedals were tight on a stock 911, I gotta wear my daugther's ballet toeshoes to shift this baby now

So the 350 uses the same DME computer that you spilt water on the other day?

The valve covers on a stock 350 wont fit under the hood as shown in that photo. ou would have to totally rework the hood. It's photoshop.

A 928 rear diff is a complete transaxle. It appears theres no shadow of that blower setup on the hood. There's a tree shadow, but no blower shadow.

Looks pretty cool, though.
