Saw this in GA this past weekend. Looked interesting to have an entranceway to a vacant lot.

My guess is there was a structure there previously that had to be demolished. My guess is that the bid documents didn't include demolition of the entry features, so it didn't get done.

Maybe buy the lot and put something on it? It tends to imply that the soil is okay since something was (probably) there before...

Obligatory pic - this airplane belongs to a guy who came to me several years ago while I was flight instructing (I got him his Private Pilot certificate). I'll be doing my CFI reinstatement checkride in the same plane most likely...

(remind me to give him some schit for not getting the nosewheel on the parking T)

Teach those women NOT to put their finger on the trigger until you are ready to shoot. And that is the old way (T-Cup) to double-hand a handgun. New way is thumbs alongside the frame pointing toward target, weak hand index finger in front of trigger guard. Plus, don't stand straight upright, bend at the knees a little, head down a little, both arms straight toward target. A combat defensive stance with a firm grip. This will give better control of the recoil for a faster follow-up shot.

What your describing sounds like the FBI stance. I never found it that great. I found the isosceles better and the weaver better than both. I've known some very good shooters that have come up with some totally weird stances and grips with good reasoning to back up their styles which worked well enough for them. Most returned to the more accepted styles, however, they were all of a calibre that they could outshoot me regardless of what they were shooting or how they were holding it. Basically what I'm saying is you need to use what works for you.
