Ha, our zoo is world famous. There is a new zoo hospital where the vets talk through microphones to the people watching about what's happening to the animals getting worked on.

starting a job for a turtle farmer tomorrow and he took me over to his shop. 200K+ eggs are hatching or about to. 1000's of baby turtles everywhere.

he's got several types of turtles. painted, red ear, snapping, stinkpot, softshell, etc. etc. most are exported to Russia for pets. lots of people down here eat the eggs and larger turtles, but I believe he mostly just exports the baby turtles.
