What is so upsetting is that the piston looks to be new.[

This one came out of my 46 jeep cj-2a. I finally decided to rebuild it after 5 years of driving it with oil that always turned to rice pudding in short order with all the coolant in it. there were cracks from the valve seats that traveled all the way down the cylender walls. Plus the top two rings an every piston were shattered in many pieces. some tried to escape. But it always ran great. Had a little more power after the rebuild but not much . Great little 60hp 134ci flathead

I would say it has 30sec of run time and likely even just starter rotation. I see no carbon signs.

Bet that is one of the bolts that holds the spider inside the CIS Intake airbox. Big backfire on start after a rebuild and that's what you can end up with - mine did it to number 5 cyl.

The pic looks more like a 36 DD than a 2.7 CIS

Lol. The whole premise fails. The bottom of the net is open . . .

Now, most Canadians would stick around anyway, and politely explain to you the problem with the concept (while drinking your beer).
