Location: Placerville, CA.... You know, the only place on Highway 50 between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe the you find signal lights. Above the fog most of the time and I can see the stars of the Milky Way 8 out of 10 nights. Kinda cool.....

A very down to earth guy. Lives in a cool old house in the village. Drives around town in an old pickup. Goes way back with Ben Harper and his family, supports the local folk music scene etc.
 He's an odd duck, but I like him. And I just love to hear him play. That hollow-neck guitar gives off some amazing vibes, and he's damn good on a 6 string, an 8, the fiddle, the oud, Pretty much anything with strings AFAIK. Saw him and Jackson and Zevon along with David Crosby and El Rayo do a 4 hour concert in South Pasadena in the 90's. It was a benefit for a band member's wife. Tow versions of Werewolves - each about 20 minutes long, and lots of howling. I have looked for a recording ever since to no avail. I know there was one, but it was never published due to licensing etc.
