MORE random pics......

Pictures taken of the Butte Fire burning in NorCal. The smoke has dropped in on our place and is nearly impossible to breath. It's like being in a thick fog with 200' of visibility at best. Aircraft grounded at the local airport running helibase operations.

Year 373 (CCCLXXIII) was a common year starting on Tuesday (link will display the full calendar) of the Julian calendar. At the time, it was known as the Year of the Consulship of Augustus and Valens (or, less frequently, year 1126 Ab urbe condita). The denomination 373 for this year has been used since the early medieval period, when the Anno Domini calendar era became the prevalent method in Europe for naming years.

The wonders of the prime Number 373 know no bounds. Its identitification with Diety - specifically God the Son - is made expicit in the verse above, as well as Revealtion 19.13 where Jesus Christ is called the Word of God. The relation between God and the Word is reiterated in the alphanumeric structure of John 1.1 where we find the identity:

Ok... but the Arabic numbers on the slide are 373, and the first three digits of what I assume is a serial number, is 373 ... so I thought there was some significance rather than just being some random **** thrown on there for no reason.

That I'm not sure, but will ask.

It's the designation of a JSOC task force (SF/MARSOC/SEALs) active in the area during the time.

Thank you for the lead...

If this is correct, then the weapon has no association with Seal Team Six or the assassination of Bin Laden ... right?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Task_Force_373

Task Force 373 is a joint military commando unit active in the War in Afghanistan.

The unit became prominent when the clandestine operations of the unit were brought into the public domain by the release of the Afghan War Diary on Wikileaks on 25 July 2010.

It has been reported that this unit's mission is to "deactivate" suspected senior Taliban, by either killing or capturing them.
Allegations of extrajudicial killing have raised questions about the legality of the operations.
