That's a very cool photo
I don't know that I've ever seen a propeller that was bolted together like that. Interesting That looks tasty! ![]() ![]()

It was another one of your your passive-aggressive attempts to break the rules of this forum by posting religious and politically biased stuff where it doesn't belong, instead of posting it in PARF where it does belong. ![]() |

Thanks Sammy - I too am sick of his passive aggressive hypocrisy.

Had a chance to use this simulator at Beale AFB a few years ago. They could program every type of terrain and weather, including any type of combination. Landing in a carrier in a storm was interesting to say the least. ![]()

Parachute "simulators".......nah! In 1970 I was able to get a "backseat drivers license" for the F4 Phantom at Cubi Point in the PI. I was the first nuclear engineer on the Enterprise, CVA(N) 65 (it had the "A" back then) and about 8 others from other divisions. We had to go through an ejector seat class, jump from the "chute tower" and then get out of the harness in the diving pool. I was a lot younger then and in much better shape and it was great! Took several trips to Clark AFB and did some training runs with USAF F4's which really wring your insides out! The pilot was surprised how fast I picked up using the backseater's radar scope and as long as I watched it and did not look outside I was okay.
