Saw this pristine '73 911 Carrera RS Touring at cars & coffee this past weekend. Looks like it had just popped out of a time machine. Shows only 340 original km!

Oh, and that '67 427 Cobra on the lift just happens to be the very last one built by Shelby back in the day.

You should have kicked the owner in the ass, pulled his undies up around his ears.....I hate asswipes that don't drive cars. I bet the hubcaps were also properly oriented right side up.....

356 has something similar on the tach (ideal RPM range) and speedo (this is generally the top speed you should be going).

On the 356C, the speedo hash marks are set for city driving - 30-40mph IIRC. Obviously on that 911 it is for "old" highway speed of 55.

Obviously, being in km/h, it's for the general speed limit of 50 in built up areas around Europe. Interesting that they give you +10km/h as bonus Come to think of it, it's probably to account for the speedo "buffer". Clever Germans!
