New sound wall on Foothills Blvd in Roseville. There's 2 or 3 sections with mismatched bricks like this

Funny stories what you could get in a filled donut, before the FDA stepped in years ago.

I thought that was pretty funny... and then wondered if it was 50+ years old,
given new life in social media/cyberspace.

^^ Yep - I think the turbine is a PT-6 twin pack - no? I just have a fondness for the old radials.

Cash - you posted the pic of the 300C (I've got about 80 hours in them from many years ago), I'd heard Sikorsky is selling the 300 line, have you heard who might end up with it? I hope not the Chinese...

Isn't it the same radial engine that drove the F4-U Corsair, at least in the beginning phases of production?

The Sikorsky had an R-1820 engine and the Corsair had an R-2800 engine, about 800+ more horsepower for the Corsair.

This beast, on the other hand, had two R-2800 engines (Sikorsky H-37).

The wife just sent me this picture. I'm unsure if I should laugh or starts crying hysterically...
