My all time favorite horror space flick. I remember seeing in after begging my parents to take me. I was in fourth grade and my brother who at the time was 5 yrs my seiner told me all about it and how scary it was. The only movie that ever kept me up ALL night as a kid. I never had any interest in the murder/horror movies but was always into the stories of space. Many have tried to grasp the concept of a good Ol fashion space alien monster movie but failed. Something about the mold being broken after the original is made. Like the original movies made in the day staring "The Duke"......... First rule, YOU NEVER MESS WITH THE DUKE! Remakes are a Felony in some states.

I could have sworn my closet door kept creeping open too in the bed room. Needles to say my imagination ran wild for several days in the wee hours of the morning during my paper route duties before school....... In the dark. I even still have the original movie picture book for the film, a bit dogeared but now I need to thumb through it again.
