      That last photo has what looks like German text at the bottom of the photo. I have to guess those are POWs. Anyone care to translate the text?

We recently watched the movie Dunkirk. They pretty much skipped over the fact of the movie and did not mention the 80,000 troops left behind. Those that were rescued were part of an amazing rescue operation.
